The Bellarmine Prep Lions''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Olympia. Bellarmine Prep lost against Olympia in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 24-17 score last time.
Olympia's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coen Cronk, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown. Cronk is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last seven games he's played.
Bellarmine Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Olympia, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Bellarmine Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Olympia will head out on the road to face off against Lake Stevens at 6:00 p.m. on November 4th. Lake Stevens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Olympia likes a good challenge.
