It was a good run, but Cadott unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Osceola Chieftains by a score of 2-1. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Chieftains from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Haley Mathison paced Cadott's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mathison got some help from Karlee Davis and her 18 assists.

Cadott's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Osceola, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Cadott has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Columbus Catholic on the 30th. As for Osceola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rice Lake on the 30th.
