After soaring to 58 points the game before, the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by Southland 67-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points LeRoy-Ostrander has scored all season.
LeRoy-Ostrander's loss came despite strong showings from Jenna Olson and Miranda Nagel. Olson scored nine points, while Nagel scored six points along with three blocks.
LeRoy-Ostrander dropped their record down to 3-20 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Southland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-17.
LeRoy-Ostrander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-28 defeat vs. Grand Meadow on the 12th. Southland will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Blooming Prairie at 7:00 p.m.
