With a playoff game on the line, Madison County rose to the challenge  on Monday. They came out on top against the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers by a score of  6-2.
  Gracyn Spicer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Anna Sanders was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI and two  doubles.  Allison Yeary was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Madison County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 39-10 record  this season. As for Prattville Christian Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 28-9-1.
 As of now, neither Madison County nor Prattville Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
