Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Menomonie). They put the hurt on the Somerset Spartans with a sharp 84-61 victory on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory got Menomonie back to even at 3-3. As for Somerset, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menomonie and Mahtomedi will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Somerset, they will challenge St. Croix Falls at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Somerset is facing St. Croix Falls at the right time seeing as St. Croix Falls is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
