It was a proper cat-fight when Harrah challenged Ada on Monday. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cougars a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Harrah's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Owens, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Harrah hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.

Harrah's record now sits at 14-11. As for Ada, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
