The Beauregard Hornets posted their biggest win since December 11, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past LaFayette, posting a 38-8 win on the road. This was payback for Beauregard, who suffered a 34-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Beauregard found their leader in underclassman Jakera Davis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cooper Watson, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Beauregard's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for LaFayette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Beauregard will be playing at home against Tallassee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaFayette, they will head out on the road to square off against Wadley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
