The Tug Valley Panthers will challenge the Phelps Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tug Valley will be strutting in after a win while Phelps will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Tug Valley turned things around against WestSide on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Renegades. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Chandler Copley made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Gavin Fitzpatrick was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dawson Richardson, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Tug Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as WestSide only posted an OBP of .300.
Meanwhile, Phelps was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Twin Valley, falling 10-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.
Tug Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Phelps, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1.
Everything went Tug Valley's way against Phelps in their previous meeting back in April, as Tug Valley made off with a 9-1 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
