The Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brattleboro. If Mt. St. Joseph Academy hoped to take revenge for the 49-37 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Brattleboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was John Satterfield out in front who scored 13 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Keagan Systo, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Mt. St. Joseph Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Brattleboro, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will challenge Burr & Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brattleboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartford will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
