Pierz had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Pillager Huskies 15-6. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Pierz pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Pillager, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
