That stolen base was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, while Walkertown put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for T.W. Andrews. The Wolfpack were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Red Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Wolfpack sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Like Wheatmore, Walkertown also got a great game from a two-way player: Rachel Roddy. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roddy has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Savannah Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Aliviah Bateman was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Walkertown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.
Wheatmore's record now sits at 6-9. As for Walkertown, their record is now 11-3.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wheatmore has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. However, it's not like Walkertown struggles in that department as they've averaged .512. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
