Chase was out to avenge their 14-56 loss to Sylvan-Lucas from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Chase found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Sylvan-Lucas on Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Chase.
The defeat dropped Chase's record to 0-2. The win got Sylvan-Lucas out to a 1-0 start for the season.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Chase will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Ingalls at 7:00 PM. Sylvan-Lucas are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Stockton next week .
