That's another feather in the cap for Lafayette Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lafayette Christian was led to victory by Carmen Bridges and Marta Oria. Bridges scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Oria scored eight points along with seven steals and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bridges has scored at least a third of Lafayette Christian's points.
Despite the loss, Flint River Academy saw an underclassman step up: Reagan Riner scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Riner has scored all season.
Lafayette Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Flint River Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
