The Slidell Tigers had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They blew past Belle Chasse 80-47 at home. Slidell has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jaden Hookfin, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Zay Bartee, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Slidell pushed their record up to 16-7 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.89 points. As for Belle Chasse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.
