The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Ludlowe is ranked 43rd, while Norwalk is ranked 44th).
Ludlowe put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past McMahon, posting a 64-37 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Ludlowe has posted since December 22, 2023.
Meanwhile, Norwalk pushed their score all the way to 64 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 73-64 to St. Joseph. The matchup was a 33-33 toss-up at halftime, but Norwalk was outscored by St. Joseph in the second.
Ludlowe has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Norwalk, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
Ludlowe couldn't quite finish off Norwalk in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 and fell 47-44. Can Ludlowe avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
