Christian Lezzer ran for two touchdowns and
Tyler Stratton added two as well as
Clearfield (Pa.) defeated
Punxsutawney (Pa.) 38-18 on Saturday.
The Bison were up 17-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Lezzer touchdown pass to
Trey Jordan in the first quarter.
Clearfield expanded its lead to 19 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Lezzer touchdown run.
With the win the Bison extended their winning streak to 11 games. Clearfield defeated the Owls 49-0 last week.
Lezzer stood out for CHS in the win. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored 24 touchdowns on the season.
Clayton Dale played well for the Chucks. The junior wide receiver caught one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.
