Lexi Hembrey put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over eight innings while giving up four earned (and nine unearned) runs off 12 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Carlene Ford made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
