Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ashton Taylor-Franklyn, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of David Iweze, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
The victory got R.W. Goines Stem Academy back to even at 4-4. As for iSchool of Lewisville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-6.
