After losing to Gladwin the last time they met, Standish-Sterling decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers put the hurt on the Flying G's with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. Considering the Panthers have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Standish-Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 20-3-1. As for Gladwin, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Standish-Sterling has already played their next game (against Petoskey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gladwin, they will host Ogemaw Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
