Big Game from Gast As Alexandria-Monroe Won 42-28
Starting off the list is Alexandria-Monroe's Brady Gast, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gast threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made five total tackles.
For the season, Gast has thrown 21 touchdowns while averaging 219.9 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had 11 passing touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Blackford, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Archer. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Archer saw the Bruins), he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Bryson Eckler Makes It Two for Alexandria-Monroe
The second Alexandria-Monroe player making an appearance here is Bryson Eckler, and for good reason. He picked up 144 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 58 yards.
For the season, Eckler has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 97.6 receiving yards per game.

Nate Luzadder's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Frankton over Alexandria-Monroe
Frankton had to settle for second on Friday, but Nate Luzadder sure wasn't going down easily. Luzadder turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 165 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
If the past is any indication, Luzadder could be in store for another big game when he takes on Blackford on Friday. Luzadder rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Bruins duked it out back in October of 2023.

Oak Hill Gets a Boost from Wyrick in 52-6 Victory
The second Oak Hill player making an appearance here is Lance Wyrick, and for good reason. He rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Wyrick has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 95.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.
