Even though the Live Oak Acorns scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, the Hill Falcons still came out on top. Hill skirted past Live Oak 63-60. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hill.
Live Oak's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Lozano, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Raymond Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Hill's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Live Oak, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Live Oak, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-54 loss vs. Ann Sobrato on the 9th.
