3A District 4 recap Oct. 16, 2012
Madill extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 4 this week by beating Lone Grove, 17-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Wildcats.
Pauls Valley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in the league. The Panthers defeated Sulphur 27-20 earlier in the week.
Pauls Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Joe Foster has thrown for 796 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Dewayne Sanders has 15 catches for 269 yards. J.c. Eyabi leads the league in rushing with 339 yards.
A big matchup in 3A District 4 this week will be when Plainview takes on Dickson. As it stands, the Indians are in second, while the Comets are in fourth.
Plainview took down Atoka 61-16 last week, the largest margin of any game.
