Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Owen Murphy stepped things up a notch to give Sayre the 'W'. Murphy wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer hits.

Murphy's strong effort led Sayre over Henry Clay and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
