While losing is never fun, Pleasant can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Marion Harding is ranked 107th).
When it comes to explaining why Pleasant lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trey Booker. Despite the final result, he scored 33 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Booker's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was JT Snively, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Pleasant's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-5. As for Marion Harding, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant will take on Buckeye Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion Harding, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Ontario at 7:15 p.m.
