After losing to the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats the last time they met, the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Brownstown/St. Elmo managed a 57-52 win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Friday.
Despite the loss, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City still got an impressive performance from Macee Rodman, who scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds. The matchup was Rodman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shae Nohren, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Brownstown/St. Elmo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Brownstown/St. Elmo will head out on the road to face off against Farina South Central at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they will be playing at home against Pana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
