After a string of six wins, Jonesville's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to Homer.
Quincy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 63-31 loss at the hands of Springport. While losing is never fun, Quincy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while Springport is ranked 230th).
Jonesville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Quincy, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
Jonesville was able to grind out a solid victory over Quincy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 42-33. Will Jonesville repeat their success, or does Quincy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
