After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterlington, Bastrop was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Lincoln Prep Panthers 17-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bastrop now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Lincoln Prep, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Bastrop will head out on the road to square off against Forest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Prep, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lincoln Prep Panthers challenge Cedar Creek Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
