They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 41-0 win over Bracken County. The result was nothing new for Beechwood, who have now won six matches by 41 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Clay Hayden, who threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes. Chase Flaherty was in the mix too, providing Beechwood with two touchdowns.
Beechwood's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Bracken County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Beechwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Danville at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Bracken County, they will head out on the road to face off against Lewis County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
