Despite the loss, Greenfield-Central still got an impressive performance from Brooklyn Mcconnell, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chaney Brown, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Greenfield-Central's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Mt. Vernon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.
