Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mahopac

Mahopac had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Fox Lane Foxes as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mahopac was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-8.

Taylor AnnviTiello paced Mahopac's offense, picking up nine kills. Annvitiello got some help from Isabella DeChico and her 21 assists. DeChico was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The victory got Mahopac back to even at 8-8. As for Fox Lane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Mahopac is taking a road trip to face off against Ossining at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fox Lane, they will take on Ketcham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
