The Wrightstown Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wrightstown will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Meanwhile, Luxemburg-Casco fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against New London on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.
Luxemburg-Casco also got a good showing from Brayden Radart, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Luxemburg-Casco saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Coisman, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.
Wrightstown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Luxemburg-Casco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
