The Randallstown Rams will head out to challenge the Eastside Ghosts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Randallstown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Randallstown had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Lansdowne on Thursday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Vikings. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
Terrence Venable made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Venable was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Randallstown's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-3-1 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Eastside narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Kennedy 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ghosts have posted against the Knights since May 3, 2017.
Johan Tejada tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kairo Reyes, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Randallstown now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Eastside, their record now sits at 4-2.
Eastside's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Randallstown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Eastside, though, as they've only averaged .236. Will they be able to contain Randallstown's hitters?
