Softball Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Has No Trouble Against Pallotti

After only one run in their last contest, Cape Henry Collegiate made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pallotti on Thursday. Cape Henry Collegiate was the clear victor by a 19-3 margin over Pallotti. The Dolphins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Leylana Dininny and Marshall Daniel did most of the damage at the plate: Dininny scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Daniel scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. What's more, Daniel posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Mary Burke also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Cape Henry Collegiate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cape Henry Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pallotti, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.
