Emmaus lost to Freedom  back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Emmaus Hornets' defense stepped up to hand the Freedom Patriots  a   1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by  just one  goal.

 The  victory made it two in a row for Emmaus and  bumps their season record up to 17-2-1. As for Freedom, they moved to 16-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their 16-game winning streak.
 Emmaus will take on Parkland at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Parkland is coming into the  match with nine straight  wins on the road,  so Emmaus will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
