The Wando Warriors won the last time they faced the Burke Bulldogs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Wando really took it to Burke for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-21 victory on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-4.
Wando's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Selah George, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Isabel Waite, who scored 8 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Wando and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Burke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Wando will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lucy Beckham at 3:30 p.m. As for Burke, they will head out on the road to face off against Stall at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th.
