The Cross Roads Bobcats won the last time they faced the King's Academy Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. Cross Roads strolled past King's Academy with points to spare, taking the game 67-51.
Despite the loss, King's Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Atkinson, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Jace Rickelman was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
The win got Cross Roads back to even at 3-3. As for King's Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Cross Roads will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against All Saints Episcopal at 12:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully All Saints Episcopal focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Thursday. King's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 10:30 a.m. on December 2nd.
