Despite the defeat, Portal saw an underclassman step up: sophomore London Blackmon dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards. Blackmon also brought in his first three-point shooting accuracy of the season. Alyssa King was another key player, putting up five points and seven rebounds.
