The Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Le Jardin Academy, falling 61-28. Hawaiian Mission Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-12.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TJ Emelio, who scored 9 points.
Hawaiian Mission Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Le Jardin Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawaiian Mission Academy will take on Kamehameha Kapalama at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Le Jardin Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Seabury Hall at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th.
