Northeastern is a perfect 4-0 against Kennard-Dale since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bobcats will welcome the Rams at 11:00 a.m. Northeastern will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
While Northeastern's win against Central York wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2.

Conner Rippo made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, Derek Gross was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Kennard-Dale's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Red Lion on Thursday. The Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against Dallastown, sneaking past 3-2.
Like Northeastern, Kennard-Dale also got a great game from a two-way player: Ryan Perzanowski. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Perzanowski was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Perzanowski wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Zach Chisolm, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Kennard-Dale is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Northeastern, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Northeastern has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Kennard-Dale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Northeastern took their victory against Kennard-Dale in their previous meeting back in May of 2016 by a conclusive 10-2 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
