The West Forsyth Titans won the last time they faced the Glenn Bobcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. West Forsyth strolled past the Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 40-26. Given West Forsyth's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 514th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
West Forsyth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Staples out in front who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Katherine Ebert, who scored 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for West Forsyth and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Glenn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Forsyth will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Glenn, they will square off against the Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
