The Northeastern Bobcats will face off against the Central York Panthers at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Monday just wasn't the day for Northeastern's offense. They came up short against Susquehannock on Monday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northeastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Dubbs, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Dubbs has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Meanwhile, Central York had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Colonials. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Logan Craiger made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Craiger was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Ashlyn Weigle and Claire Bohannon did most of the damage at the plate: Weigle went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Bohannon went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Weigle has posted since back in May of 2024. Alli Raynes was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Central York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Central York, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
