Leroy can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Fruitdale on the road to the tune of 82-42. With Leroy ahead 45-25 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Leroy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaquan Scott led the charge by scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Scott continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ray Phillips, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Bayshore Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Fruitdale 62-36. The victory was some much needed relief for Bayshore Christian as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Leroy's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Bayshore Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
