The Nebraska Lutheran Knights will head out on the road to challenge the College View Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Nebraska Lutheran is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than College View Academy in Nebraska (Nebraska Lutheran is ranked 108th, while College View Academy is ranked 265th).
On Tuesday, Nebraska Lutheran didn't have too much trouble with Hampton at home as they won 44-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Nebraska Lutheran.
Nebraska Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Luke Otte, who scored 16 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Otte scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Eldridge, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, College View Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Dorchester last Saturday as College View Academy made off with a 52-31 victory. The victory was just what College View Academy needed coming off of a 65-27 defeat in their prior match.
Nebraska Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for College View Academy, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.
Everything came up roses for Nebraska Lutheran against College View Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 65-16 victory. With Nebraska Lutheran ahead 43-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
