Blackville-Hilda has not had much luck with Hunter-Kinard-Tyler recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Blackville-Hilda's loss came despite strong showings from Breyanna Williams and Eva Sapp. Williams scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Sapp scored ten points along with seven steals. Williams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Tilayzia Youmans continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. Youmans is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeira Blue, who scored five points along with nine blocks and five steals.
Blackville-Hilda now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Denmark-Olar the next time they take the court. Blackville-Hilda will head out to face Denmark-Olar at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
