It was a good run, but Dedham unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Norwood Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in March.

Dedham now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Norwood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dedham is set to take on their familiar foe Dover-Sherborn at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, Norwood will square off against rival Holliston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
