The Lake Blue Streaks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Jackson 92-56. While losing is never fun, Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 464th, while Jackson is ranked 56th).
Among those leading the charge was Cole Baker, who scored 21 points.
Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Jackson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake will take on Green at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson, they will be playing at home against East at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. East is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
