Brody Metting Delivers Electric Effort Vs Pettus
Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The win (which was Yorktown's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Metting and Yorktown will venture away from home to square off against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyler Pawelek Delivers Best Performance of Season
Tyler Pawelek produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Falls City to the win on Friday. Pawelek rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Falls City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Pawelek and Falls City are taking a road trip to face off against Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mckenzie Yanta Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Another Yorktown player making an appearance on this list is Mckenzie Yanta. He rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.7) per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
On the year, Yanta has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 100.7 rushing yards per game.

Johnson Came Up Big in Falls City's 48-7 Victory
Another Falls City player making an appearance on this list is Braylon Johnson. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Johnson must have Louise's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Johnson saw the Hornets), he rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 112 yards on only eight passes.

Rylan Rau was instrumental in extending Yorktown's winning streak to five on Friday. Rau did his part (and then some), picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss) for the 'W'.
For the year, Rau has averaged 5.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks.
