Lockhart and Rouse's match on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Lockhart turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Everything went the Lockhart Lions' way against the Rouse Raiders as the Lockhart Lions made off with a 3-0 win. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Raiders are ranked 483rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Evan Estrada and Jorge Castillo-Valerio scored all three of Lockhart's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Lockhart's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-3. As for Rouse, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-6.

Looking ahead, Lockhart will challenge East View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
