SouthWest Edgecombe hasn't had much luck against North Pitt recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the North Pitt Panthers at 6:00 p.m. SouthWest Edgecombe will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
SouthWest Edgecombe will head into Thursday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 25) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past West Craven 51-48. The 51-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

It's a different story for North Pitt, though, as they've been averaging only 34.2 points. The only thing between SouthWest Edgecombe and another offensive beatdown is North Pitt. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for SouthWest Edgecombe against North Pitt when the teams last played on January 3rd, as the team secured a 63-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for SouthWest Edgecombe since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
