The Browne Bruins had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past South Mountain, posting a 60-10 win on the road. For Browne, this counts as revenge for the 16-13 loss South Mountain walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2020.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Browne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nico Alvarez, who threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. Eric Washington was in the mix as well, providing Browne with four touchdowns.
Browne's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for South Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Browne will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against Fairfax at 7:00 p.m. As for South Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against North at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
